Winners announced in the
DUCHESNE COUNTY
JUNK
VEHICLE REMOVAL
CONTEST III
Phase III of the Duchesne
County Junk Vehicle Removal Contest has come to a close and 131
junk vehicles have been hauled away. Ten dollars per junk
vehicle was placed in a prize fund, resulting in $1,310.00 worth
of prizes. The drawing, conducted during the Duchesne County
Commission meeting July 31, 2006, produced five winners, with
first prize being 50% of the fund ($655.00), second prize being
20% ($262.00), third prize 15% ($196.50), fourth prize 10%
($131.00) and fifth prize 5% ($65.50). The lucky prize winners
are:

Phase 4 of this contest will
begin immediately and continue until at least 150 cars are
collected. The contest is open to residents of Duchesne County
including all of its cities and towns. Citizens wishing to enter
the next drawing should contact one of these eight participating
businesses to arrange for removal of their junk vehicle(s):
