Bring your pre-schooler in and join in the fun, stories, crafts and games. For more
information contact a member of the library staff. For
Duchesne call 738-2800 and in Roosevelt call 22-4441.
Summer Reading Program:
The Duchesne County Library
offers summer reading programs for children and teens.
Participants celebrate with a party.
Interlibrary Loan:
Our library is connected to a nationwide inter-library
loan program. This means if we don't have a particular title you are looking for we
can locate it at another library for you. Our library charges $1.75 per book, video or
audio received through this service. Newspaper and Magazine articles are free of
charge. It can take from 2 to 6 weeks for books to arrive depending where the item
is located. We have had great success with locating items through this service and
would be more than happy to order materials for you.
Pioneer:
Pioneer is a statewide library network that allows
library patrons access to things like full-text magazine articles,
genealogy information,
car repair manuals, the latest library news and research tools. If you have not used
Pioneer, check it out at
http://pioneer.lib.ut.us.
Library staff members would be more than happy to introduce you to pioneer and
teach you how to use it. All you need to do is ask.
For more information on library
projects and services, contact a member of the library staff at
738-2800 or 722-4441.
