Duchesne County Fair - First Ever Annual Talent Show
The Duchesne County Fair Talent Show competition will be held Monday, August 6, 2007 at 6:00 pm in the Duchesne High School Auditorium.  The auditorium will be open at 3:00 to 5:00 pm for anyone wanting to rehearse their number.  You will need to sign in and be registered by 5:30 pm that evening.
Participants can compete with vocal or instrumental numbers, dances, novelty routines, readings or dramatic presentations.  All participants must be amateurs.  You must be a resident of Duchesne County.
Participants compete in four age divisions based on the oldest performer in the group as of the day of the talent show, August 6, 2007.
The age divisions are:	Beginner	0-6 years
	Junior	7-12 years
	Intermediate	13-17 years
	Senior	18 and up
There will also be an all age group category for groups of 3 individuals or more.
Each talent number should last no longer than 3 minutes.
Decisions of the judges are final.
Judging will be  based  on:	Entertainment appeal, (including audience reaction)	30%
	Presentation (appearance and poise)	20%
	Quality of number and artistic development	50%
We ask that participants please be on time and ready to perform when called.
The talent find is free to the public.  Everyone is encouraged to participate.
Participants may be asked to perform as variety entertainment the week of the fair.
Application deadline is Wednesday, August 1, 2007.
