DUCHESNE COUNTY FAIR RODEO FRIDAY - AUGUST 10, 2007 SATURDAY - AUGUST 11, 2007 THE EXCITEMENT BEGINS AT 7:00 PM BOTH NIGHTS

The award winning Duchesne County Fair Rodeo will once again be the concluding event of Fair Week here in Duchesne County with the rodeo starting at 7:00 pm Friday and Saturday, August 10-11.  Voted the ImPRA "Rodeo of the Year" by the cowboys and cowgirls, this year's rodeo promises to be even better than last year's production.

The Duchesne County Fair Rodeo has fast become one of the premier events in the Intermountain Professional Rodeo Circuit.  This year will again feature Ben German's Broken Heart Rodeo Company, back-to-back rough stock contractor of the year, featuring Bareback horse of the year Wrong Number; Saddle Bronc horse of the year Too Big; Bucking Bull of the year Red Wasp; and PRCA National Finals Rodeo bulls Corkscrew and Snoopy.  As one of the last rodeos before the ImPRA finals, which will be held during the Labor Day holiday at the Eastern Idaho State Fair, the competition will be fierce, fast, and furious as cowboys and cowgirls try to extend leads and qualify for the finals.

Six teams will compete each night in the hide pull races.   Come watch and cheer as your favorite local buckaroo team rides hard and fast to put the money in their pockets.

Once again this year's rodeo will feature the exciting  miniature Brahma bull riding, where local, young contestants will test their riding skills against 800 pounds of snortin' fury.

There will be plenty of wild-n-woolly action this year, so make sure you plan to attend the 2007 version of the Duchesne County Fair Rodeo.

Prices are $8.00 for adults $5.00 for Senior Citizens (age 60+) $5.00 for children (6-12) Ages 5 and under FREE
